Damn, I was going to go hiking this weekend but I think I'll pass. I wa son the edge of the whole time. I knew someone was going to die but couldn't guess until the twist!
She noticed the pristine beauty of the clearing for the first time. The soft white moon, the crunchy pine needles, the ancient trees that smelled like Christmas. BEAUTY IN HORROR!!!
I read this story and loved it. I had intended to read half and get back to my own writing. NO WAY! I had to finish it. READ IT, you'll be happy and satisfied.
Really fun watching (reading) the two stories slowly step toward one another in the dark. And I’m left wondering just how many people she saved, besides herself.
I just finished reading "All Who Wander." I thought I would read 5 pages today and then finish it tomorrow. NO WAY! I was hooked by the dual plots and the interesting situations of both. One of the men sounded extremely unpredicatable and eratic (possibly supressing violent tendencies. I was following you down that road and then...SURPRISE!...it was the pathetic Tori who turned out to be a killer. What makes this story work is the excellent background work you do, especially on Tori and her life and limitations. I would have liked to know more about Ken, but it was also effective that he was just the unfortunate victim of Tori's fear, and as it turned out, psychotic nature.
I love this. But also, I do not want to go camping. Ever.
Thanks, Michele! I don't want to go camping either! But mostly because I don't like bugs. haha
The woods have all the nature. I don't even like going out into my backyard, Sean.
🤣
not in the woods. no. and there aint even wolves or bears in england
Great Collab - I love how things come together and then come undone. Very good format for your complimentary skills both. Now do one out at sea!
watch out, you will absolutely inspire something
Great collaboration! Both characters and storylines were riveting. I knew they would converge, but never predicted how! Loved it!
❤️ Thank you, Liz!

You had a 50/50 shot! haha (although, we did consider death for all)
Humans will always be the scariest creatures in the woods. Excellent story! Now you've got me in the Halloween spirit. 🎃
When we first started out there was going to be a demon in the woods inciting them, but we decided humans didn't need that to be wild.
demons already built in, arent they...
Excellent choice. 👌
Absolutely correct, though having said that I'm working on one with a potential but not 100% sure demon right now. Coming soon.
I love demon stuff. My story Apple Snake has one (in a forest to boot).
These two as a team are seamless
Thank you for these comments, Bette! It means a lot to us! ❤️

Great stuff y’all! Spooky!
Thanks, Sean! ❤️
But what was Ken going to do!? Does Tori share this with the YMCA group? Loved this collab. Fun and terrifying stuff.
hahaha Tori goes back to the camping debrief and she’s like “I killed a guy, how was yalls trip?”

Thank you, Sandy! ❤️ ✨
Ahh, I didn't see this twist coming 😄 Saved myself for this. Great work you two.
Thank you, Hanna! ❤️
This was a nail-biter for sure. Great use of tension. I couldn't stop reading!
Thanks, Garen! What every horror writer loves to hear! :))

Hero! 🔪 Thanks for reading! ❤️

*fortunate victim ;)
Thanks, Sandy! EJ created a great backstory for Tori! I love that character.
Loved the two person perspective. Also a good reason not to go into the woods alone, great tension building.
Thanks, Edith! It was a lot of fun playing off of EJ's character. This was my first writing collaboration and it was a great experience.
It's extremely hard to find writer's to collab with! I am so glad it worked out for you two. It gives me hope. :)
Reminds me of the old days hiking through the woods, just me, my pack and my trusty wakizashi.
Wonderful stuff, fellas! Excellent work. May I venture a guess that EJ did the Ken bits and Seany the Tori bits? Or is that not cricket?
Thanks, Murph! We're both big fans and appreciate the compliment! I was Ken's puppeteer, EJ animated Tori. 💀
How about getting that completely wrong then? Just goes to show... er, something.
I am super intrigued by that!
I like that you got that wrong. If I can be mistaken for EJ I know I must be doing something right. ❤️
